Oct. 10 (continued)
The geese flying overhead had it right today...they were heading south!
This is a picture of my shoes...or one of them...covered with ice from the run. It didn't even melt off by the time I drove home...15 minutes with the heat on in the car!
Sara and I are off on another adventure, this time to help the refugees (mostly from war-torn Syria) as they arrive on the Island of Lesvos, Greece. I'm happy to share our experiences with you and to lessen the nearly 6,000 miles that will separate us during this trip. Also, my hope is that this blog will bring you closer to this part of the world, to provide insight into what's going on here, and to give you a glimpse into the local Greek culture.
