Did my usual 3 mile Sunday morning walk/run & it always feels good to loosen up after Saturday's longer ones. Leo came along to do a walk, too & he went 2 1/4 miles - pretty sporty! Came home & we mowed the grass.
Sara and I are off on another adventure, this time to help the refugees (mostly from war-torn Syria) as they arrive on the Island of Lesvos, Greece. I'm happy to share our experiences with you and to lessen the nearly 6,000 miles that will separate us during this trip. Also, my hope is that this blog will bring you closer to this part of the world, to provide insight into what's going on here, and to give you a glimpse into the local Greek culture.
