Saturday August 22

Got up early for the Saturday team run. It's back to the Mopac trail - yay! - flat! I tried my new pace today - walk 2 minutes/run 30 seconds - and it's much better. Four minutes was too long to walk & 45 seconds was just a bit too long to run - so this new pace suits me fine & I have plenty of time to recover with the 2 minutes walk. The walk/run today was very scenic - we went out so far we saw cows in the fields!

I did 12 miles in 189 minutes (15.7 min/mile). Total miles this week = 30. After my usual ice bath & breakfast, I taught a cooking class for an hour or so. No rest for the weary!
