My day off and I drove to Omaha to buy some pickling cucumbers at a farm there and then drove back to Lincoln and further southwest to a winery where they let me pick some grape leaves for my pickling and then I was on my feet for the next 9 hours to can pickles...quite an ordeal...and not a good idea for a rest day and for the day before my long run.
